$350m SOLAR PROJECT

A $350 million solar project at Murray Bridge has been given development approval, the latest in a string of renewable energy investments in South Australia to get a green light.

The solar farm, proposed by RES (Renewable Energy Systems) will create 200 direct and 320 indirect jobs during construction. The RES project comprises a 176MW solar panel array and a large battery, which is in final design. It will lease 730ha land 5km north of Murray Bridge.
